Our Heritage worship is a traditional service with liturgy, hymns, and songs of praise, that takes place in the midst of a loving and welcoming community. When you come to visit, there will be someone to greet you at the door and help you find a seat when you arrive. God's word and the love and grace we encounter there is at the heart of our worship. Pastor Clare shares messages rooted in scripture and relevant to the current day, that work to help us all become more the people we were created to be, as we seek to serve Christ faithfully in the world.
Our nursery is available for infants through pre-school aged children, but know this church loves children and all are welcome to worship with us! There are tables in the back of our worship space, stocked with crayons, butcher paper and children's worship bulletins where families can worship together. There is a children's sermon in worship each Sunday, and then children can go with our Children and Youth Ministry Intern for our Thrive Children's Ministry during the sermon.
The ministry of prayer is central to our life at Heritage. We have a time of congregational prayer for our family, friends, community and world during worship each week. We also have members of our prayer team availalbe for personal prayer after worhsip at the front of the sanctuary.
Thursdays at 2:30pm we host a prayer gathering, where we share in prayers of praise, confession, thanksgiving & intercession for the needs in our lives, community, church & world. The prayer gathering is a safe space that people can engage as they are comfortable, praying out loud or in the silence of their hearts. All are welcome to join us.
